Butch is the HC. The buck stops at Butch. He isn't the one that did or didn't do whatever was or wasn't done, but he is the HC. Of course the player is responsible too 100%. But don't leave Butch out all together, the guy is here because Butch went and got him.

Like I said player 100% responsible.

This reads more like the player is 90% responsible and Butch is 10%

So then I guess Coach Jones is responsible for Joshua Dobbs' success as well.

I dont get upset over a kid who has never played. We did him a favor for continuing to recruit him. If he wants it then show the coaches. Otherwise, recruit over and move on.

Butch is responsible for all things Vol football. He is the HC. The buck stops at Butch.

And the player is 100% responsible for his own actions, but Butch is like the guy that's goes out and hires his friend for a job and then the friend goofs up and it makes the guy that hired him look bad. Guilt by association.

No doubt the player is 100% responsible for their own actions.

When I leave a glass of Snowman milk on the table and one of the kids lollygags and spills it, my part was having a glass of Snowman milk on the table and the kid is responsible for lollygaging and knocking it over. One didn't happen without the other.

Kid 100% his fault, but I played a part as well.

This by definition is a gray area.

It's like in marriage you hear that it's a 50/50 proposition. The truth is it's 100/100 proposition. Each person should be giving 100% to the relationship. That's 200%, 100% from each person. That's what it means to give your all.

Wow my head is spinning.....

Oh holy h***!
The only thing we've learned in this thread is that common core mathematics is a complete fail.

This thread is a perfect example of what is wrong with some in this fan base.

Agree...I need 10 minutes back in my life from reading these brilliantly negative nonsense posts. If he lets it slide and sweeps under the rug, he doesn't have "control of the ship"...if he disciplines like he did, some how he's responsible for the actions...

I've got to find another way to waste my time...that, or we need back to back undefeated seasons, which one would hope to turn the conversations somewhat positive.

I must be losing it in my old age. Back in my day, suspension WAS discipline. When did that change?

Got a feeling it has something to do with losing to vandy

The year I was born, the TN vs Vandy record was 30-25-4. In 2016 it now stands at 75-31-5. We've lost to Vandy a total of 6 times in my lifetime. Everyone one of those losses have sucked. I got over it. They will too.

Our in my life record vs Vandy is 45-6-1. Here's to me living another 52 years. :)
