Dude! Why must you always take it above where it is??

He should not be above Fournette.

MM is exactly right. Fringe first rounder probably gets drafted middle 2nd.

He's not a top 10 pick (like Barnett and Fournette )

If Barnett doesn't go too 3 it's a damn shame

And no heisman for Dobbs ........

I need your crystal ball sir.

That's on Butch Jones.

Dobbs put together a heisman worthy season. 3800 total yards (almost breaking Peyton Manning's school record in 1997 when he was a heisman finalist). 40 total TDs. 63% passing. 8+ yards per pass attempt. Breaking his own school record for rushing yards and rushing TDs by a QB.

Dobbs did exactly what I thought he would do in 2016. It was Butch Jones poor decision making in the off-season and his poor handling of the team during the season that cost us a trip to the SEC championship game.

JD won't see the field in the NFL but will go on to have a lucrative career in either politics or Engineering. Hurd will scratch the 2 deeps for several years. AK will play in the league, occasionally get a start but nothing consistent. DB will be a solid player who MIGHT have pro bowl level talent. I can't call anyone an HoF lock on our team(or any for that matter).

You really are the most dillusional poster on this board.

You state these like they're known facts, when they're nothing more than your opinion. YOU just may be the most delusional (not dillusional) poster on this board....

He should be the first RB taken (yes over Fournette). He's the next Marshall Faulk.

It'll be crazy to look back in 5 years and see how many NFL superstars we had on this team and how we couldn't even win 10 games. Team 120 will have featured 2 Future HOFers (Alvin Kamara and Cam Sutton). Another 2 pro-bowl level talents (Josh Dobbs and Jalen Hurd). And a solid 10 year starter like Derek Barnett.

Barnett is nowhere close to a top 10 pick. I have Fournette just outside my top 10 right now.

Here is my early list of top 10 prospects for the 2017 draft:

1. DE Myles Garrett (Texas A&M)
2. WR Corey Davis (Western Michigan)
3. CB Cam Sutton (Tennessee)
4. DE Solomon Thomas (Stanford)
5. RB Alvin Kamara (Tennessee)
6. QB Josh Dobbs (Tennessee)
7. TE Evan Engram (Ole Miss)
8. DE Charles Harris (Missouri)
9. CB Jourdan Lewis (Michigan)
10. CB Marlon Humphrey (Alabama)

says the guy that thinks Dobbs is pro bowl...

Josh Dobbs has Randall Cunningham type talent. With the right coaching staff he can be a future MVP candidate in the NFL.

Dobbs will have the brilliant NFL career people assume Deshaun Watson will have.

How do you not have Allen in the 5? Bama or not he's a force in the middle.

:eek:lol: at 5 and 6

Lol, there are about 8 QBs in FBS(IA) that are statistically better than Josh Dobbs. Keep huffing that paint.

Watson just had a game winning drive against Bama to win it all.

Dobbs had the game on the line against a&m and threw pick that he knew he shouldn't have thrown. Jones even stated publicly he knows better than to make that throw

Barnett is alot like Charles Johnson (Panthers). He'll have a solid career. Will have a couple of 10+ sack seasons. Might make one pro bowl or two. But he is not worthy of a top 10 pick (let alone top 3) in this draft which is loaded with future HOF talent.

2017 has a chance to be one of the best draft classes in NFL history. You don't draft a player like Derek Barnett that high in such a loaded class.

Late 1st/Early 2nd round is a more appropriate range for Barnett.

Edit: I meant Barnett not Fournette.

Most don't think AK is an every down back; therefore, I don't see him being taken in the first round. I do believe he will be a good value no matter where he ends up be taken.

I think AK will be a high value guy after teams realize he's a massive mismatch catching the ball out the backfield. That's where he will make his money in the NFL.
