Totally misrepresented what I was saying, which seems to be a common tactic of yours. Does getting rid of Confederate statues change history? Those statues still represent significant events that happened. Do you believe in burning books to? After all, not all books are pleasant and just serve as painful reminders of the past.
It's not about celebrating or supporting the evil things that happened. It's remembering they did happen and committing to not letting them happen again.
Also, please stop being so idiotic.
So Weezer to continue your thought line, I have to ask this of the general liberal population. If we continue to wipe away Confederate History, does that mean slavery will eventually never have happened? If slavery never happened that would really get rid of a lot of issues that plague this country. I agree with you, just because you take down a statue, it doesn't change history. But if they want it to, then we need to just decide slavery never happened. Next it will be that the Holocaust never happened, although, they are trying really hard on that one already.
