His seven foot noodle arms are tailor-made for disrupting passing lanes.
and blocking too. I feel like McRae blocked more as a So/JR and stopped going for blocks as a senior. 4 steals is impressive against Summer league comp.

He's gonna make a team somewhere, I think that much is sure now. He's out playing some first rounders.

21 this game. Hope it is not serious. He is trying to earn regular season pt with the way he has been playing.

His night cut short after a fall, @JordyMac52 again led @Sixers in scoring with 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Four rebounds, two assists.

Some real info on McRae for those who check this thread.

"That's what I want to see from him, specifically, instead of letting his game be dictated by how he's shooting the ball," said Sixers assistant coach Chad Iske, who is coaching their summer-league squad. "We want his defense to dictate his game. And how his shots go, that's just a bonus."

"I'm trying to get a roster spot," he said. "So I don't have any room to try to demand shots and stuff like that. I hope to find my way on the defensive side of the court."

Interesting... I wonder why McRae wasn't a keen defensive player here?

If you have been watching those games, Jordy still struggles on defense. He has had some nice moments but he still has a lot of guys go right by him.

I haven't watched any of the games, but why would he say he's trying to become a defensive specialist if he keeps having guys blow by him?

I don't know why any person says what they say. I just know that Jordy tends to get beat off the dribble a lot. He has a habit of letting people go by and trying to block shots from behind.

He did have 2 steals vs the Cavs that led to run outs but both of those came as he came over to double team.

Just because guys are blowing by him doesn't mean he's not trying lol.

He's been disruptive, lots of blocks and steals, he's really being allowed to show off that massive wingspan he has
