My point is the guy has character issues regardless of doing anything illegal.

I can not like someone based on their character still.

I can't get past the first step in this, which is that someone would wear a shirt like that. First, no one is going to take him up on the offer. Second, it's not particularly funny.

Headed out to a 100 Club event, better drag out that F the Police tee and blast NWA all the way there.

Dude obviously did it for attention and is obviously a giant dbag but it unfortunately that isn't illegal.

What's your legal opinion?

You can dislike anyone you choose. Guy is probably a dirtbag.

Seems like more than a dirt bag, but I'm real bad about judging books by the cover.

But really guys, who in the hell plans out their day, decides to go to a public event promoting Sexual Assault Awareness on women, and picks out the first f-bomb shirt they find in their closet?

My guess is that it wouldn't be the first shirt of that nature that he would find in his closet.

If this is a private event, no problem with how this was handled. If he had to pay for a ticket and was allowed in, should he be reimbursed on his way out?

Looks like it was on public property. Can a promoter make exclusions like this while on public land?

More than likely yes. they have to get a permit and assume responsibility. if someone gets drunk and hurts himself or makes obscene remarks and starts a fight the promoter could be liable if they didn't try to prevent it. something as simple as bringing a glass container is prohibited at most events because of liability.

I got a tee from the first strip club I went to on my bachelor party. Wife said I can wear it wherever, as long as I'm at my house. I can respect that.

Time and place.

I think I've worn it once.

Irrelevant.

Did he even buy a ticket?

Was this on public or private land?

Was he doing anything other than wearing a shirt and staring at any hot feminists he was able to find?

In who's eyes? The event was on public property, so who has the final say on rules? Private property, yes no problem with what happened.

If the promoter had to pull a permit then they set the rules. Since they were charging admission then they probably had to pull a permit. if not then all bets are off.

That's between you and your wife.

Not the state.

I've got a t-shirt from a bar in St. Marteen that says "topless women drink free" with some tastefull art work. I wear it out on the lake every know and then.

Wife has no issue with it.

That very well could be the case, if so he got what he deserved.

I agree Dinkin.

Just posting my views on the guy's lack of character and providing an example.

Cant find a damn to give about the guy being cuffed for breaking the law eventually.

But I do have an issue with a cop picking a fight, which is what it seems like.

I've been thrown out of a bar or 2 in my life and don't remember getting reimbursed

"One of us has gotta go! Its either me or the beer and I'm way outnumbered apparently"

-I actually heard this on Northgate one night from a less than stable individual as he was being escorted out the front.
