God forbid you all quit throwing your now departed senior QB under the bus.
It's not are fault we still are mad at him for costing us the game against LSU.
Well, actually I like EA, but I don't think he's going to sell many more jerseys in the short term in Knoxville. EB, on the other hand, could do the bookstore a huge favor if he picked #10. They might even go from 75% off to a 25% premium, overnight.
It could be win-win as fans who already bought 10's could just keep wearing them next year with a renewed sense of pride. As I mentioned in another thread, even a guy like Ras could wear the #10 jersey next year had EB chosen it--and I suspect making him wear a 10 in recent years would have been pyschologically abusive. Whether Ras would have recovered from such torture, I can only speculate, but I suspect his wearing that jersey to the SEC championship game would have been the end for him.
Anyway... just saying...
I'm not still mad at him. Unlike you, I can move beyond one game where he made 2 bad throws. But, just so you know, Ainge didn't cost us that game. Our lack of a running game had it's fair share.
I can get past a loss here and there without bashing a kid who came here and played as well as he could.
No I didn't smart:shaking2:but anyone could've thrown a better pass.He had a wide open receiver and he threw it in triple coverage. Was I the only one to see that?
Ainge was a bum, sorry fellas. And before you ask I'm basing my opinion on one game.(The SEC Championship Game).I could've throw a better pass towards the end than he did.And yes I played football.
The way I see it,you're a Senior QB for arguebly one of of the most historically successful college football programs in the nation, and you're playing for an SEC championship and you can't find a wide-open wide-receiver because a DT is bearing down on you(GET REAL,DUDE!!!!)there is no excuse for that.EA=BUM!!!!!!!!:banghead2:and how does that warrant being called a bum? Did you ever have a top-5 NFL pick DT bearing down on you as you tried to win the SECCG? Please don't equate your HS football days to what EA did on the field
