How is this not being covered by the MSM

I still don’t understand why people on the Left think they’re being productive by doing things like this. You’re not expanding your base, in fact you’re decreasing it because anyone that’s on the fence is tired of the same old shtick that’s been applied going on 2 years.

Here's what was completely ignored as of yesterday.

Trump-Putin Helsinki meeting: read the full transcript - Vox

What is your point?

Let's assume that this is not just Putin helping Trump throw out another smoke grenade for the base to just hate Clinton so much that they are blinded to everything else, including Trump shenanigans. Let's assume its all true.

How does that make it okay for Trump to be a puppet of Putin? To circumvent sanctions to favor Russia. To repeatedly denigrate NATO and promote the Russian agenda. To publicly side with Putin over your own intelligence agencies?

Answer: It does not.

The "she was getting Russian money, too," or "everyone else was doing it, too," defenses are simply not valid retorts to the question of whether Trump is compromised, as you must admit definitely appears to be the case.

It’s called Trump Derangement Syndrome. Trump opened himself up to legitimate criticism today, but TDS makes pushes the left beyond the pale. All they have to do is not be crazy. They can’t do it

People on MSNBC are comparing it to Pearl Harbor and Kristallnacht for godsake

Lol @ Kristallnacht. Funny thing is the DNC had Kristallnachtlite with Bernie Sanders back in 2016..

Raving lunatics. TDS is legit.

The funniest part of the media reactions to all of this is how all of the talking heads are in Helsinki, as if they can't sit in front of a camera in NYC, Atlanta, or wherever else they are and give the same take.

Is it really necessary for every single one of them to actually go over there? What is that supposed to do? Add "gravitas" to the news coverage?

The deep state is a problem, but Cohen's tweet didn't even say "stop" Trump, let alone call for a coup. Click bait garbage.

I think we should tell Cohen to cut it out.

Did anybody actually read the tweet? At worst, he's vaguely implying we should have a military coup. Here is the text:

“Where are our military folks? The Commander in Chief is in the hands of our enemy!”

Indulge them a little. They've had a rough 24 hours.

I am sure he was just curious as to what their vacation/dinner plans were

I am modestly surprised that people on the right are expressing surprise at the reaction to yesterday. I think its disingenuous and wonder if you actually watched it. It was painful. It really felt like Trump was self-conscious of the way he was coming off. It felt like the people in the room were watching it, and all of them thinking that Trump is compromised.

I admit I expected it to be bad because I went into it already thinking that Trump is compromised. But not this bad. It was awful.

cause its better than dealing with the lag in the conversation. even domestic "Go to Meetings" can be painful with overlapping conversation, not being sure who is there or if they are paying attention. couldn't imagine it across international borders.

and it generally sells an idea better to meet in person, rather than being a free floating persona on the internet.

Donald Trump has given morons everywhere the confidence to voice outlandish, stupid opinions that have no basis in reality. This not a partisan statement.
