Holly needs to be an asst. coach on defense somewhere, might do pretty good, just don't let her anywhere near your offense.

Give Tennessee some credit, they're not folding. Mizzou could have really blown that lead up.

How do you not have plays drawn for your 3 pt specialist? They just have her isolated to one side. No screening action unless she's the one setting the screen.

I've rarely ever seen Tennessee use screens to free up shooters. One of the reasons Middleton was woefully misused during her time with the team.

This has been a nice showdown between Sophie and Jaime. Unlike when she went up against Vivians, Nared has brought her A game.

Only a 6 point lead. It's anyone's game. Will be interesting to see what Holly does about the 3 players on the bench in foul trouble who weren't making much of an impact when they went to the bench. Green has been more of an impact than Russell. Think Holly will stay with her in the 2nd half?

I haven't watched Missouri much, but they move the ball really well in the games I've seen, plus they have Sophie who can improvise if the game breaks down. They are soft in the middle. Cierra Porter is not a true center, and she is weak defensively. Russell should own her. The other 3 starters are good, especially Frericks at PF and Smith at SG. If their PG is hitting open shots, this will be a tough one.

Despite the Alabama game, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tennessee come out gangbusters and pull out the win. Aside from Sophie, they still out-talent and out-athlete Missouri by a significant margin, and would 100% win if they'd just stop getting in their own damn way.

The problem may not be the players, it might be the coaching, or the lack there of.

We always seem to do terrible on final possessions of the quarter/half.

With that said amazing comeback.

"May"? If it was 1 or 2 players, then maybe. It's been every class under Holly. I think it's obvious that her lack of coaching ability prevents the team from playing to their potential.

Does Russell & Jackson & or Davis start the second half or do they keep the line up that worked better?
