LW do you think he stays if he has a loaded team returning in 2011? He clearly was "conflicted" about something. He went from "stepping down" to taking a couple month leave of absence, then said he was back, then left a year later citing the same reasons.

Not sure, but I think it was clear Meyer had checked out mentally during the 2010 season. There were reports of infighting on the team between the vets and the highly touted freshmen.

We had an awesome recruiting class in 2010, so I’m guessing that contributed to him coming back after the ‘09 season.

Whats interesting is that while Saban was creating a obstacle to win the conference and advance to the NC, the east was actually getting easier to manage at the same time.

No kidding. If Urban was still there can you imagine how easy he would have steamrolled people in the East? He probably would have won the East every year since he left except maybe for last year.
