Elizabeth Warren's proposed Accountable Capitalism Act

You aren't wrong and its a dumb idea. I suspect the point of it is not that it is an actual proposal but is a means of calling attention to the fact that the tax breaks are making corporations and wealthy stockholders even wealthier, but that expansion of the job base has been with no real wage growth.

As I recall from report on CNBC last week, in the last year wage growth has been 2.7 percent, but inflation has been 2.9 percent. So if anything its a tiny slide backwards for the working class.

So you think anyone with a 401k is wealthy?

They might be securing a decent retirement but that kind of investing isn't creating billions or even tens of millions.
So then you would agree far more people, “then wealthy stock holders”, had financial gains bc of said cuts right? Otherwise what the hell are you talking about?

After the debacle she created at CFPB, the best bet is to assume that any idea Elizabeth Warren has is economic poison. The woman is nuts.

Corporations by their very nature are going to avoid paying tax. The Dims hate this fact because it throws off their "take from the rich and give to the poor" voting scheme. Its easier to provide them with a good economy and low tax rate. The returned tax will be much higher under the Trump administration than Obama's. You can try any other scenario you like, if you tax them unfairly they will find a work around.

You mean like keeping their offshore profits in offshore accounts? Those unpatriotic bastages.

I can absolutely see the libtards... when they do get into power again, rescinding corporate tax breaks. It's what they do.

I find it amusing how “ some people “ stay away from certain threads containing important and relevant information about one of two possible demacratic presidential candidates that is openly leaning toward socialism . 🤔

That’s what they do. Same with wanting to eliminate the 2nd amendment. They’ll be like, shucks, we don’t want to really get rid of capitalism. We just want common sense regulation. All the while knowing they’re lying their ass off.
