Dixie land delight

Honestly, borrowing any of these bammer chants is cringe. Just enjoy the tune in its simplicity after we beat them.
I agree. The tradition should be to play it after beating BAMA, but only as long as they play it regularly. If they shed the song, which I have heard some local Bammers here in SW TN saying they want to never play that song again in Tuscaloosa.
They already say we ruined it. I always say we ruined if for BAMA because we actually know what the lyrics are.

Best I can tell from videos on basketball thread about this :

Dollar - “on beer”
“Go Vols “
Hold her up tight - “against the wall”
Make a little lovin’ “all night”
F Bama
And LSU
And Georgia too

I’m probably not hearing it correctly… but I’ve been humming the damn song all day.

Rollin' down a Backwoods, Tennessee byway
One arm on the wheel
Holdin' my lover with the other
A sweet, soft, southern thrill
Worked hard all week, got a little jingle
On a Tennessee Saturday night
Couldn't feel better, I'm together
With my Dixieland delight
Spend my dollar
Parked in a holler 'neath the mountain moonlight
Hold her uptight, make a little lovin'
A little turtle dovin' on a Mason-Dixon night
Fits my life, oh, so right
My Dixieland delight
White-tail buck deer munchin' on clover
Red-tail hawk sittin' on a limb
Chubby old groundhog, croakin' bullfrog
Free as the feelin' in the wind
Home-grown country girl gonna give me a whirl
On a Tennessee Saturday night
Lucky as a seven, livin' in Heaven
With my Dixieland delight
Spend my dollar
Parked in a holler 'neath the mountain moonlight
Hold her uptight, make a little lovin'
A little turtle dovin' on a Mason-Dixon night
Fits my life, oh, so right

It isn't really about Tennessee, it's about getting some with your woman.

If it were a song about an Alabama Saturday Night then the “Dixieland Delight” that is referenced would be their sister or cousin.

….IN Tennessee. If had anything to do with Alabama, it would be about getting some with their sister.

It isn't really about Tennessee, it's about getting some with your woman.

It says the word Tennessee 5 times. I think it’s safe to assume the theme is enjoying a TENNESSEE Saturday night with your southern woman.

This just adds more confirmation that they are the most ignorant fans in the world. No fanbase is a close second. For years, they've stolen a song about Tennessee and now claim Tennessee stole it from them....

Not only is Dixie Land Delight about Tennessee, it is a Tennessee anthem.....
