That was a DE playing RB. Hurd is nothing like that. basically, we're discussing comparing Hurd to more realistic body types. I think most of us agree he's more of an Eric Dickerson RB. People throwing out the names of bowling ball backs who happen to also be tall don't get it. Hurd is symmetrically build, he's not a knot of lumpy muscle like the guys we're currently referring to. Nor will he play like them.


It will be interesting to see how much muscle mass Jalen can put on over the course of the next 3-4 years. The roster currently lists him at 6-3, 221 lbs, but he is barely eighteen years old (birthdate: 1/23/96). The shoulder injuries have, to date, hampered his upper body progress somewhat. If he can avoid further injuries, at least those which sideline him for extended periods of time, I could definitely see him playing at 235-240 by the time his career at Tennessee is over, while maintaining his speed and body composition.
