Pretty sure that, after you play, you have to show injury, even if you play in one game. Not sure how loose they play it on injury.
Think the rule book says 1 second. Hubbs would have been Hardship/ Medical but he played in more than 30% of games.
The moment a student-athlete
competes for a single second of time or a single play, they will use up one of their four years of
eligibility. Intercollegiate competition includes any contests against outside competition, regardless
of how the competition is classified (e.g., scrimmages, exhibitions, etc.). (NCAA Bylaw 14.02.6)
