Arian Foster discussion (split)

Not necessarily. He throws a lot of shade at the University, and says some stupid things otherwise.

But I, as one, know how Atheist organizations work. They will make a ban into a religious bigotry argument.

I'm still not so sure that some of the people that would want him banned wouldn't want it for that reason myself

Al Wilson comes out as atheist...does he get banned?

You really shouldn't have a screen name that mocks brave swamp reptiles. :nono:

Yea, I've asked multiple times over the years to have it changed. Guess it's low on the list of priorities for Freak :) Oh well

Yes for saying he doesn't believe in the Christian God, he was punished based on the concept taught in Eastern religions like Buddhism and Hinduism.

No no no no no. He was hit in the leg by a lightning bolt from Zeus for not sacrificing a bull to him. Duh.

A few people on VN think that "speaking your mind" is a sign of independent thought and/or maturity (primarily b/c their parents overdosed them on self-esteem leading to a national plague called defiance).

While I appreciate differing opinions (and more often than not welcome them), it is the method/spirit behind the communication that is most often important. It's the "way" someone says what they say - or the underlying meaning.

In AF's case, its not just the spirit, but also what he says. He does it to glean attention. As some of us said yesterday, he's an "attention whore". I'm sorry that being the toast of Houston, an NFL star, routinely touted on E$PN, etc. isn't enough. Like sooooo many in our culture, it leaves him hungrier for more. He. Wants. More. Attention.

Pathetic.

Just wanted to come in here and say that if Arian would just do his own thing and keep his mouth shut I'd be on board with him. Since he likes to preach his crap to everyone who will listen and tell lies about various things that have happened in his life then I'm not on board with him.

Arian Foster is not a VFL. He's arrogant and egotistical and I personally don't care about him one bit.

Simply responding to your post chief. If you don't like that then you may misunderstand the purpose of a message board.

And wow, you're putting way too much effort in trying to defend murder over being an attention whore.

So if Arian apologizes for eating all those tacos will you forgive him?

And I responded to your unsolicited response to mine....see how that works?

And yeah, I think more of a man who makes mistakes, takes his punishment, shows contrition, asks for forgiveness and then goes about making amends for those mistakes than some attention whore trying to constantly tear down others, especially those others and institutions that gave him so much. Also, sorry to bring up how Goodrich has turned his life around (after manslaughter, not murder)...it didn't take much effort.

So I take it you aren't a Christian then.

Cool, you riding with Little too?

Besides, Foster likely put up with the indigestion, heartburn and temporary incontinence from those ill-advised tacos. He took his punishment yet you won't forgive. What gives?

I'd get in a car with Leonard Little...not so much Foster...he'd suck the oxygen out of the cab blabbing about how complicated he is. :stinker2:

Republican Christians. LOL.

Jesus was a socialist.

Irrelevant, but another exemption most Christians make from their beliefs.

Burnt his draft card. Turned water into higher priced mineral water and fed the masses with pumpkin bread and tofish.
