This is Ms State we are talking about, if you arent smart enough to figure out that a raise like theirs is big dont know what else to tell you, but they dont pull many fans in any sport, YET because they are winning and at a big clip they have a raise in attendance, UTC same way, you know the little sister that beat Holly twice! Also again since you seem hard up on math, I took and removed home games because you said on the road TN was top draw on the road and as usual you are proven WRONG! I removed all home games and averaged it out for road and neutral games, it isnt the other programs fault they had more games because they got farther than UT did in the tourney, heck Iowa State plays in a large arena and only had like 12 games neutral or road. UT has a large arena, i think its 2nd or 3rd in the nation in size that a womens team plays in, so it can afford to sit 20k a game but doesnt while UConn can only fit 8k in their small place and they charge as much if not more than UT does for season tickets and have a smaller place to play in!

As far as UT lowering season ticket prices it sure would be smart for them considering they lost 2 million last year in the womens program, i will be interested to see how much they lost this year, especially due to lost attendance, which i am sure will be even lower than that which i linked too! And i am sure that there would be others that would take in the game, 13k would only happen if they brought UConn back in because there arent 13k fans that would even pay 50.00 for lower bowl seats to watch that team and the Yawnball brand of basketball they play and lack of fundamentals! I mean they seriously were trying to get people in for the Oregon State game in the National Tourney and only got 4500 to the game, thats sad as they sent emails out(or at least did to me someone who used to have season tickets) and they were low costs tickets down low that i wouldnt drive out of Chattanooga to go watch them choke again in the round of 32! To watch a team absolutely play with no fundamentals i can go watch a local church Upwards basketball game and not pay a thing! And yes there are less kids in the nosebleeds, i know as i took some teams with me years ago and i have friends that still coach girls basketball that no longer go there as they can go and see a much better coached basketball team locally at UTC. Since you are in Chatt maybe go ask Coach Foster his opinion of Holly's coaching ability, Him and other coaches laugh at the mention of it except those that love she is at UT since they play them every year!

As for proving me wrong, you didn't.

My point isn't one specific stat that I could counter by 6 years of stats or some other metric.

My point is that dropping to #2 out of 345 in attendance in an environment where most every team is dropping is not an indictment of a coach.

You don't have to like Holly as a coach, but as a fan it seems you should at least be respectful until such time as she isn't the coach.

lol, we will disagree on me not knowing Coach Foster and him being a mentor of Geno's does nothing for the fact he as well as most other coaches in the country think she is so far in over her head she cant even see TBA from where she stands!

Also again, UT was number 2 in the country behind USC, USC is a winning program(you know a NC within the past 5 years). You can blame it all you want on TV or anything else but UT is also behind several programs in away attendance(which proved you wrong again) and I only did the numbers on 4 different teams! Now maybe the powers that be at UT care about not losing over 2 mil a year on the ladies program and will lower some of the costs, because there are plenty of lower level sitting there as the losing continues and relevance passes! As i said before there are tons of tickets up top that are bought, but call the ticket office and ask them how many season tickets they have lost the past 4 years and it continues to lower, that happens when your program starts a slow death! And yes smaller programs do mostly make up that list of those that have grown, but take Ms State and average those extra 2000 tickets even if at 10.00 a piece for 16 home games thats an extra 320,000 in revenue they aren't losing for the university! Changes are coming for the TNfund with the ladies team because its going to have to come, or they will be giving away more tickets than they do already(just listen to the radio during season, Sportstalk gives out tickets all the time!) But don't worry we all know on here you arent going to listen to anyone, even when facts are presented(proved you wrong on attendance numbers yet you still want to fight back when in black and white)! I just hope way less of our fans are like you so that we can hopefully within the next year get a real coach before ODU starts calling hoping to put together a rivalry game of once great programs fallen on hard times!!!

Not so, even if it's not the right hire, you can still try. Especially when, the assets Tennessee has to offer a women's coach, almost any descent coach could win at Holly's level. Now a better than average or very good coach would be an improvement worth trying. All we've done is set us up for another extension at the end of next years disappointing season.

I don't see you on here listening to anyone either. We each have our ideas, and we communicate them. I do consider points from others and I hope some consider mine.

No, I don't believe the attendance is worrisome at this point. Gosh, the UTAD saved roughly $650000 per year on Head Coach salary. Holly can afford to lose attendance and be better off than before Pat left (in that respect).

I'd love for attendance to increase. I think that could be done just as quickly by marketing changes and pricing. You may disagree that's fine.

Look, I don't want any more of these pissing contests. I just want to show respect to my coach while she's my coach. Hope you and others with your mindset will do the same.
