The biggest take away from the oscars last night, is that you never allow a bunch of Commies run anything.

No matter what it is they will screw it up.

They have two briefcases on either side of the stage with identical envelopes. They must have handed off the best actress one from one side and discarded the wrong envelope on the other side. As much as PWC brags about handling these votes this is incredibly embarrassing for them.

It does have the category printed on the envelop and the cards, which could have alerted Beatty of the screw up.

I realize such things are easier assessed after the fact than they are when you're standing in the spotlight on live TV.

The culprit is Brian Cullinan, a 30 year employee of PWC. Brian was apparently busy tweeting pictures of Best Actress winner Emma Stone when he forgot to discard his duplicate Best Actress envelope and handed it to Warren Beatty instead of the one for Best Picture. Duplicate sets of envelopes are made for each side of the stage. One is given to the presenter as they enter the stage and one should be given to the winner as they exit. DiCaprio also handed his envelope to Emma Stone as they were exiting which may have also thrown off the befuddled Brian. Any way you look at it, that was a colossal brain fart.
