Tennessee falls just 1 spot to #6. South Carolina climbs all the way to #15.

UNC loses to a bad Ga Tech team has no effect on their ranking. Yeah they beat Duke, which was overrated. But that GaTech game should've caused them to fall at least one-two spots.

Tenn loses to a now top-15 team and then goes on to Rupp and beats a then top-10 team and drops.

I hate blue bloods. All of em.

Just goes to show how they view home vs away games. We lost at home and looked awful. UNC played a little better but lost on the road to a worse team.

Updated finally! Sorry, I am in the process of selling my house right now and spare time is minimal. Hopefully Kansas and UNC's losses will allow us to move up, but most likely, it will just muck up the waters of the 3-6 even more.

I expect that our ceiling would be the last number 1 seed. I would be fine with that.

Houston, Purdue, and UCONN have all but locked up a 1-seed barring collapses. But that last spot is wide open. We can get it. Just can’t drop games to bad teams.

Idk if Houston has "locked up" a 1 seed at this point. They are in a loaded Big 12 and could lose 2-3 In a row at any point. I do agree on Purdue and UConn though.

OP Updated. 4th, and 1338 vote points is our best polling of the season. Analytics still have us squarely at 5th. We now lead the 2nd tier of Top 25 teams, below 3-loss Houston/Purdue/UConn.

Obviously more to it than just the 2 human polls and analytics, but seems noteworthy that we have moved ahead of Arizona in most of these. I agree with most that Arizona is ahead of us on the seed list today, but I think it’s further evidence that the door is absolutely open for the Vols to surpass Arizona and get their first ever 1 seed.

Updated. Still at 4th, as we will likely not be able to get above this the rest of the season unless one of the top 3 loses 2-3 games.

We are in our own tier, as we are far separated from the top 3 in terms of W-L, and are 112 vote points (almost 2 whole positions worth of points) above Arizona in 5th.
