He might end up at Arkansas. Has deep family ties there and Chad Morris can easily sell his offense

Fresh off his decommitment from Texas A&M, four-star quarterback Grant Gunnell is set to take in another unofficial visit to LSU.

On Friday, Gunnell and a handful of KB3 (7-on-7 team) teammates will stop into LSU on their way to a weekend tournament in New Orleans. The nation's No. 2 overall quarterback prospect and highest-ranked uncommitted quarterback in the 2019 class visited LSU last month for the program's Elite Junior Day, where he joined St. Pius X teammate Jalen Curry and IMG Academy running back Noah Cain on an overnight stay in Baton Rouge.

Gunnell is one of the most heavily recruited prospects in the 2019 class, and with his recruiting process back open again, LSU, Arkansas and TCU are some teams beginning to build momentum this offseason.

Other top names expected to stop into LSU this weekend are Elijah Higgins, Lejond Cavajos, Marquez Beason and Zeriah Beason, among others.

The Tigers currently have six verbal commitments for the 2019 class, giving Ed Orgeron and Co. an early Top 10 class on the 247Sports Team Rankings.

They need to make their way up to Knoxville instead. They won't have to worry about all that gas from having a belly full of corn dogs when they leave.
