'16 GA LB Ja'Quain Blakely (UT commit 8/1/15)

He projects as a LB. on his vids he walked up to a two point stance a lot but I saw several where he was covering receivers.

With Jakob probably moving to DE, that's one less LB.

OK I was just going by the info that was put out about him being a DE.

Tremendous quickness. Gets to wherever he needs to get on the field. Blockers struggle to engage him because they can't catch him. Will need to add significant strength to consistently get SEC ball-carriers on the ground - very correctable.

I like the pickup, particularly if Bituli is slated for DE.

Two questions.

Is the old Hoover Alabama coach still at this school and

Didn't his son go to UT?
Quality kids are in this program (they did win state last year in Georgia's largest division)and if UT can get in well with this program. ..... Well you know I'll hang up and listen.

The strength coach is going to have to put about 50 - 60 pounds on this young man. We need to feed this young man cornbread, mash potatoes, corn on the cob, pork chops, steaks, and cheese grits. Then he will be good as gold !! GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!1

265 lb linebacker? Why?
