Bull**** that he gets ten years, and there's guys like cal and bohein set free.

The NCAA is a joke. Still doesn't change the fact that if he didn't do it then he wouldn't be in the situation he is now.

This is what happens when you are in the NCAA crosshairs at the same time as UNC and Syracuse.

Post of the day. There is so much politics, old-boy dynamics and out and out bias in the NCAA its a wonder they don't have their own TV network or run someone for office.

For as dirty as Cal is (depending on your bias imo), what happened at 'Cuse and UNC is worse. UNC cheating for 20 years, 'Cuse for almost 15 iirc. Both schools showed/are showing a lot of hesitancy is owning up to it. Jim was able to bargain his way out of having a title taken away, Roy will probably walk away unscathed, and Cal will have had two FF's wiped. I think the NCAA showed a lot more mercy on the bigger coaches.

No way the NCAA puts the hammer down on ol Roy. Louisville was paying for blowies for its recruits and probably will get a slap on the wrist.

Louisville has actually punished themselves, albeit an obvious attempt to stop the bleeding. What has UNC done? Nothing. They saw the chance to win a title this year and said "screw it".

He doesn't have the name and pedigree to fight it.

Therein lies part of the problem with the organization.

Dissolve it or purge the administrative membership and develop an impartial entity.

Something our worthless media could focus on if they had any integrity.

Its funny because Louisville keeps adding punishments on themselves. Its like the NCAA keeps telling them: "Nope, that's not enough, punish yourselves some more, or we will."

It could be worse. He could be Tyler Summitt who now has a lifetime show cause in women's basketball.

How many schools can claim to have two coaches hit with a show cause?

Don't forget Frank Haith who the very same ncaa let skate away after buying a player for $10,000 while he was head coach at Miami. Even after he got let go by Missouri for committing further infractions, the ncaa is still looking the other way. Whatever Tyndall did surely pales in comparison to what Haith did. Selective enforcement is commonplace at the ncaa and needs to be rooted out, but it won't be as long as the organization remains as corrupt as it has been for decades now.

Considering that a 10 yr show cause would presumably end Tyndall's coaching career I think he has no other choice but to go right at the NCAA and file suit for disparate treatment and before everyone piles on please remember that the AA never does well in an actual Court of Law.

I disagree . Paying for players is much worse IMO

Needs a lifetime ban IMO

Worse than having sham classes? That is the core of what an educational institution does for its students. No way.

Edit: I see some more things that the NCAA says Tyndall did. Even so, 10 years is stiff when other schools are getting away with things just as bad. Just a joke.
