Never played Borderlands but probably a good choice. I got bored playing Dying Light. Same stale zombie gameplay IMO

It was pointless to me to begin with but with the new backwards compatibility I feel like it is even more unnecessary JMO

Huge news for backward compatibility. Got excited for the Gears of War announcement only to be disappointed by a "remastered" version of the original. This crap has got to stop. I don't care if it looks better it is the same game.

So it sounds to me like this game isn't like the BF's of the past, but it is a decent game in itself if you aren't comparing it to the others? I don't really remember what the gameplay was like on BC so I think I'll enjoy this game...hopefully haha
