Nailed it with that comment. There are 5 high schools in my county alone, and roughly 600 total in the state that I reside. There are entire states in this country that dont have 3 FBS Colleges. So, what makes people think that a high school is anywhere near the level of play that an FBS college...

I think that the reason people hype up the freshman class coming in is because of the way Hunter played as a freshman. Unfortunately, they cannot all be Justin Hunters. I have to admit that I thought Worely was going to shock the world when he came in last year. Boy, was I wrong!

That is exactly true. While Shannon was a great DC at Miami, he was not surrounded by the best DC and OC while he was a head coach. Fulmer was a pretty darn good coach when he had Cutcliffe and Chavez around. So maybe Shannon can be one of the pieces that saves Dooley.

Cant argue with that logic. But he is not getting the caliber of recruits at Duke that he coached as an OC at UT. We offered him the HC job before Dooley, but he wanted to bring his whole Duke staff back to UT with him. Hammy said no. Would we have been worse off with Cutcliffe?

I was two minutes too late with Cutcliffe. I love the Ole Miss comment. Houston Nutt was an OC that went HC and he cant keep a HC job. I expect him to be an OC again someday.
