We absolutely need to fire this coaching staff and start over again. That's the way to have an elite program. Change coaching staffs every 3-4 years. It's the coaching staffs fault we have been destroyed by injuries. Despite all the praise the Shoop hire received, he is obviously a terrible D.C.
With the offensive line play today, no offense would work. Injuries and playing a great front seven was the problem today. You can't run or throw if you can't block anyone.
Shocking that he was fired from a mid-major when he was soo close to being great at UT. If he had just had one more year, he had great recruits coming in.:)
We haven't been this much better than any team we've played. Give the team credit for turning things around. I don't know how we will do in the tournament, but they have played great basketball the last three games. Continue with this level of play and we can absolutely beat Florida.
Interesting question. I don't think any of the previous staff could return. Who he could hire should be a matter of discussion if UT was actually having a discussion with him about returning.
Ramar Smith was not part of the conversation and Ramar Smith was not part of the investigation or allegation of cheating. Changing the subject is a good tactic when you are losing an argument.
I consider cheating to win as buying players, altering transcripts to get them in school, changing grades to keep them eligible, etc. All the BBQ was was a minor infraction that likely occurs at most all schools. That, alone, would have not resulted in a whimper by the NCAA and it is now legal.
