Tennessee head coach Butch Jones has filled his vacant running back coaching position and will have a full staff in place when the Vols open spring practice on Saturday March 9th.

Former Florida running back Robert Gillespie who interviewed for the job on Thursday was offered and accepted the position on Friday.

The 33-year old Gillespie has been the running backs coach at West Virginia since 2011 and was scheduled to make $300,000 dollars with the Mountineers this year. Gillespie according to sources does not have a buyout to leave Morgantown for another job. But Gillespie's salary with the Vols is not clear at this point.

Jay Graham is about as VFL as Tee Martin is. Jay Graham did not want to be at Tennessee. His decision to jump ship to FSU after one year clearly reflects that.
