Yeah big Colts fan here that is all he is. Love him to death but he needs his hand in the ground every play. Just can't do what he's great at in the 3-4. And like Kingston said compares to Freeney all day.

He essentially won games for them against us and UM. Probably other games as well. That is quite amazing when you are not the QB. He is a game changer playing on defense. Not a lot of those.

Nobody is really bashing just stating the obvious,IMO. Clowney is a freak and Tiny is really good. Dude doesn't take plays off ask the Michigan RB.

Once again thats a huge play, and he had one later in the game. He did play great against UM. Stretched some outside runs and made the tackle but doesnt change my opinion

I might not change your opinion but how will you feel when he possibly gets drafted #1 next April?

That he is a great player but takes plays off. Look to see where I said he wasnt. I just think Lawson has the talent and if he has the work ethic to be a great DE as well. I would rather have the one that plays 100% all the time. Just like Bray, great QB but when things so wrong or he doesnt want to be there he takes (multiple) plays off

People are disagreeing with you re: Clowney and Lawson because Clowney as a sophomore was everything you hope your DE recruits pan out to be, except you say he takes plays off (not disagreeing with you just haven't seen it). Lawson has that potential but he has to live up to it.

I was prob way off on saying Lawson over Clowney but I stand by my other statement

FTR, i'm not saying that Lawson will be as good as Clowney. Clowney could have been drafted out of high school. I'm saying Lawson might be on his level from a pure talent standpoint, but he doesn't have the size Clowney has. Clowney is a very lean 6'7 265. Lawson is much shorter and can't use his arm length like Clowney can. It looks like Lawson is quicker off the ball though.

Im not even sure he quicker off the ball cause clowney is quick when.he wants to be but I think he can be a gamechanger just like clowney
