A Timeline of Treason: Obama, Clinton, & the Deep State

You just quoted the National Review.... what’s next Breitbart? National Enquirer?

So what part of the article, other than opinions or the right to ask questions, is not a fact?

Ok ok ok. You are right, the DC swamp does not exist, they are all honest brokers, not remotely interested in remaining in power and good graces of influencers and fixers. Gotcha, thanks for clearing that up bro.

Well the article doesnt denigrate Trump or his supporters so it's obviously junk. So typical of you.

Obviously that's the reason.

Probably nothing to do with the outlandish claims that Hillary's deleted emails were recovered by..... wait for it..... James Comey.

derp.

The tinfoil helmets are on too tight, loosen the chinstraps - stop scouring 4chan and 'big league' politics for "bombmshell" scoops. These desperate reaches for confirmation bias 'news' is cutting of the blood flow to the reason centers in your brains.

Republicans’ highly political articles of impeachment against Rod Rosenstein, annotated - The Washington Post

House Freedom Caucus drafts impeachment articles against Rosenstein, as 'last resort' | Fox News

Members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus have drafted articles of impeachment against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, calling it a “last resort” if the Justice Department continues “slow walking” its response to document requests.

Sources with the caucus emphasized they are not planning right now to move forward with any impeachment effort -- apparently intending the draft as a warning shot to the DOJ in their quest for documents.

The draft, obtained by Fox News Tuesday, comes just days after House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., announced they had reached an agreement with the Justice Department on producing documents.

First reported by The Washington Post, the draft impeachment from the caucus, chaired by Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., outlines eight instances of Rosenstein’s alleged wrongdoing.

Rod Rosenstein: Justice Department 'not going to be extorted' by threats

Asked about an effort by some House Republicans to draft articles of impeachment against him, Rosenstein said it's just one of many threats that have been made, publicly and privately. In this case, he said, no one had the "courage" to associate themselves with the effort.

"The Department of Justice is not going to be extorted," he said.

I don't think that is for a Deputy AG to decide, who does this guy think he is?

Good luck with it. It will go over just like the Dems trying to impeach Trump.

Rods not going to be impeached, it's a stupid theater move by those repubs. Why in the hell go through an impeachment for someone that can be fired?

Cover for Trump to fire him. Not too bright are you?

I do think one thing that is quite obvious about the Deep state, the next Democrat president will definitely shore up any type of deep State leaks.

They will continue to plant activist that will continue to go against the principles of America.

I doubt any non-lifetime politician will ever want to run for office. The establishment will make sure that guy's reputation is destroyed.

Investigating the investigators during an investigation is not oversight, its interference. Let them do their job and and stay out of it until its over. The house Republicans do not control the DOJ or FBI and since they closed their investigation this is just political theater for the MAGA folks in an effort to distract from the real investigation before the midterms and give Trump access to what has already been uncovered but not made public.

They're asking for documents to review in their oversight. Why can Congressional Cmte Oversight with security clearance not see it, but anyone in the FBI or DOJ can? Do you understand how the Constitutional structure of the government works? If not, you obviously never took civics class in school.

Let me explain this to you...Congress—through several oversight committees in the Senate and House—reviews budget appropriations, programs, and selected investigations. Congress is a co-equal branch of the federal government and is charged with oversight responsibilities in our nation’s system of checks and balances, with constitutionally mandated oversight responsibilities. --- so it's definitely justified to issue contempt of Congress in response to DOJ's failure to comply with subpoenas.

Case in point, it's taken the DOJ over 5 months to produce only a few thousand documents to Congress--yet as of today, they still can’t tell Congress how many documents they owe, when they'll deliver them, and what their redaction standards are. Again--it's been over 5 months to even respond!

In all seriousness, it's actually ridiculous, the DOJ has been of little to no help to Congress in this investigation.
