Four-star offensive lineman names Tennessee in final two

Class of 2019 4-star offensive lineman Wanya Morris, from Loganville, GA named his two finalists on Tuesday and announced it’s down to Tennessee and Auburn.

Listed at 6-5.5, 300 pounds, Morris is the No. 40 player in the nation, the No. 6 offensive tackle, and the No. 6 player in the state of Georgia, according to the 247Sports composite rating.

“At Tennessee, it is about the same feeling that I have at Auburn. They treat me like family up there and I have built a great relationship with coach [Will] Friend and everyone else on the new staff,” Morris told Rivals.com. “The staff at Tennessee didn’t waste anytime with the recruiting pitches and they just gave me the facts, so I liked that.”

He was in Knoxville this past weekend for Tennessee’s junior day.

Morris has 25 offers, including FSU, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Alabama and Clemson.

  1. The type of player we need to build an actual SEC roster. Good news that we’re already going after the big boys & making headway with them. GoVols!
