’18 FL APB Jashaun Corbin commits to the Vols

Tennessee picked up commitment number five for the class of 2018 on Friday when Florida all-purpose back Jashaun Corbin committed to the Vols via Twitter.

“I just want to thank God for all he’s done and blessing me these different types of opportunities, and I also want to thank every single coach that offered me a football scholarship,” Corbin wrote. “After many prayers and conversations with my family, today I have decided to verbally commit to THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE!!”

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 191 pounds, Corbin is rated 3-stars by both 247Sports and Scout, and 4-stars by Rivals. His offer list is impressive: Florida State, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, LSU, among others.

“They want to use me the exact same was as they use Alvin Kamara, but more,” Corbin told VolQuest. “My skill-set is very similar to his, catching, returning punts and running the ball. Doing many things to help the offense be successful.”

    • The first thing I noticed. Some really solid offers including Florida and FSU, which is nice considering he’s from Florida.
