Five-star offensive lineman rolls into Knoxville

“Knoxville I’m here,” five-star offensive tackle and Tennessee target Drew Richmond tweeted on Thursday as he arrived in Knoxville.

Listed at 6-foot-5, 323 pounds, Richmond is considered the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee. He’s the No. 5 offensive tackle in that nation and the No. 27 player overall, according to Rivals.com.

Richmond committed to Ole Miss back on September 9th, but wants to take all of his visits, just “to be sure.” He will attend Tennessee’s homecoming game against UT Chattanooga on Saturday afternoon.

  1. @ Drew Richmond. come join the coming out party for volunteer football, coming soon to every stadium. Play in front of the largest crowd in football history in the battle of Bristol. WE need bricks son, come on.

  2. Early playing time with a historical pipeline to the NFL? We gotcha covered. You’ll look good as a man in the mountains in Knoxville.

  3. Drew we would love to have you on the Hill wearing the Big Orange! CBJ and staff are building a dynasty and you could be a major part of that. Only come though if you heart is in it!

  4. Drew if you want to be part of the 2017 playoff team and 2018 National Championship team at left tackle spot and future 1ST round and top 10 pick in the draft, this is the place.

  5. UT’s the real deal if you want to start immediately and impact your future career in the NFL. Take in the appreciation in Big Orange Country, where NEXT YEAR’S SEC east champs reside. How many UT Vols entered the NFL last year? Count ’em. There’s only one choice, so keep your heart in your home state of Tennessee!

    • BTW – Drew….

If you think the coach at Ole Miss will be there in 2 years with his current record, you’re mistaken. He’ll probably end up at a Michigan, Florida, Auburn (if their coach leaves…) etc. He probably won’t be your coach during your most formative years.

  6. you would look great in Orange and white Mr Richmond, just think of the past History of the Mighty Vols and how you can be the man to tip the Scales in UTs future,to bring the program back to it’s glory
