Vols open as 19-point underdogs to Georgia, but dropping

It’s no surprise that Tennessee is a substantial underdog in its matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens this weekend. According to VegasInsider.com, the line opened at 19 points, with the Dawgs as home favorites, of course.

But that number quickly dropped. “Must be significant early action on the Volunteers, because Georgia has gone from a 19-point favorite to 17.5 in a couple of hours,” David Pacschall tweeted.

If for nothing else, it’s interesting to see the mainstream public perception of this game. It seems the initial reaction is that 19-point line may have been a bit too high. Do you agree? Is this line about right? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
