The 6-foot-5, 323-pound prospect is rated the top player in the state of Tennessee by Rivals.com, and the 27th ranked player nationally.
Tennessee was thought to be the leader for Richmond, but Ole Miss has momentum since his visit to Oxford, according to some.
“While Richmond is not talking, one thing is clear: It’s shaping up to be a two-team race between Ole Miss and Tennessee to land him,” said Woody Wommack of Rivals.com. “Tennessee appeared to be running in the lead for Richmond for most of the summer, but a visit to Ole Miss earlier this month put the Rebels squarely back in the picture. Schools such as Alabama and Ohio State are also trying to make last-minute pitches to Richmond, but when it’s all said and done I still think it’s the Rebels or the Vols.”
