That's what I was planning on doing. Once upon a time I was considering buying a Mustang with a stick. However, I am neither 18 nor suffering a mid-life crisis...so the Mustang isn't for me.

Yeah, that's ugly. Also I would never trust a Hennessey product.

Learn a stick on an old ford or Chevy truck. Then you can drive anything.

Other way round imo. I found old truck's 10x easier to drive than a lot of modern cars.

I agree, shift patterns on newer cars are really close compared to the older vehicles.

Not even that, with an old truck you get an old worn clutch, so it is very hard to stall.

Yore wrong! An old truck even with a new clutch or old would be harder than even a car like yours. You can pop it and shift from faster with newer cars. The shift alignment is the same on all cars except Euro such as old Audi and VW where reverse is before first gear.
