I'm not saying its relevant. The case was pretty much open and shut. I don't know about you, but I don't want to get mugged again by another person like Trayvon and end up like Zimmerman.

Well I don't think Zimmerman is a good example but I see your point.

My brother moved from Chicago after getting mugged at gunpoint a few years back. Gun right in his face as he was parked in a friends driveway.

Muggers are 0 fer 2 with me. I'm not going to back down on them. If you put your finger on the barrel, the gun is an explosive because of the back up pressure. That's the only way you will stand. Street crime makes me want to be a vigilante. Crime is just going to get worse.

You're sayin placing ones finger firmly over the opening of the barrel will cause it to backfire?

If that's the case, the same would happen when you place gun firmly against someone's head.

Has to be super tight to the point of no air going through. The pressure of combustion needs air to be able to go outward. If you block that air completely, the gun will backfire. The behind of the head still gets enough air flow to properly fire a gun. You'll lose the tip of your finger, but you live.

Do you actually believe this to be true? Full blown obstructions aren't that great a risk with modern firearms. (most incorporate some means of gas venting) The Mythbusters even did an episode on the matter.

The biggest realistic issue with obstructions is following a squib load (underloaded round that lodges a bullet in the barrel) with another round and even THAT doesn't always result in the kind of thing you are describing would happen using one's finger.

I'd be willing to bet that even if a video emerged that clearly showed Trayvon waiting to confront zimmerman, and then sucker punching him, people would still blame zimmerman. What's funny is no one wants to talk about the texts trayvon sent a week before his death were he describes wanting to do to someone exactly what he did to zimmerman. No one wants to talk about the 4 minutes Trayvon had to get away if he truly was scared of Zimmerman. No one wants to admit that Trayvon talked about wanting to be gangsta. No one wants to admit there is a mountain of evidence that trayvon was the first aggressor.

I just hope if I'm ever the victim of a violent assault that the media, President, and whole groups of people dont start blaming me for getting attacked like a lot of people are doing to Zimmerman.

Reverse racism is a racist term to begin with. It implies that only whites can be racist, and any other groups bigotry is clearly due to the injustices done to them by the white majority.
