So you have reasonable doubt as to what happened? Have you ever been in a serious fight? You can't plan on executing something like that, waiting until you get beat up enough and then muahaha, pull out the great equalizer! No, doesn't work that way.

Yea after he got his ass beat he jumped up & was able to stick a gun to the chest of the guy that beat him. He was shot point blank. Witnesses saw him on top & experts determined the shot. Of course you could be right & they're wrong.

He's also assuming that the 40 feet Zimmerman moved in that direction before Trayvon doubled back to beat the hell out of him is "following".

I'm merely trying to base an opinion that is congruent with Zimmerman's story that doesn't appear to match the evidence. I think that Zimmerman may have embellished his story. Of course, there is reasonable doubt in all of this!

Don't forget GZ would have to situate the gun in such a way that the muzzle/distance from clothing/distance from flesh measurements would match up to the forensic evidence that would require TM to be steeply leaned forward to separate clothing from flesh. (such as being on top of GZ)

The problem with that "what if" is that it's a total fabrication of the mind. There is no evidence for it. There is evidence for that not happening. If Zimmerman followed Martin after he said "okay" to the dispatcher who told him they didn't need him to do that, then why were there four minutes after Zimmerman was at the T in the concrete walk until the fight started...at the T of the concrete walk? When the shot was fired, experts testified that Martin's hoodie would have been flush against his torso if he had been in a vertical position, but it was two to four inches away from his body. That is consistent with him leaning forward at an angle over Zimmerman. It is not consistent with him getting up.

and maybe Trayvon wasn't about to stop. thats an awful big gamble to take with your life.

I doubt a few of Zimmerman's statements, they do not change the relevant facts of self defense.

I said that he might have been in the process of ending the fight. This may have been in the very early stages where Trayvon allowed Zimmerman to get his arms free enough to reach for his weapon. This is just pure speculation on my part to possibly give me sympathy with the Martin family. Otherwise, I agree that Zimmerman should walk!

Twitter is kinda like going to Walmart, it's always a boost to self confidence to see how messed up a lot of people are in this world.....& sad too.

How long did the fight last? I think it was two minutes or longer. Imagine an MMA match with one contestant wailing on the other for the entire round, with him on top for about a minute. That is a long time. I knew a guy at UT who had gone to Brushy Mountain for getting on top of a guy in a fight and pounding him too long. If Martin had not been killed, he would have been wanted on serious charges.

Watching Bay News 9 in Tampa right now. The anchorman keeps referring to the case of "an innocent teenager who was killed by a vigilante".
