Zimmerman Trial

I think there are plenty of parents who do everything they can to raise their kids properly and teach them respect only to have said child still act like a defiant, entitled little bastard.

Sure parenting is huge but painting every bad kid as therefore having bad parents is absurd.

Well, except for the fact that he was apparently texting his dad about his illegal firearm habit.

You know there will be at least one that wants to review all of the evidence and will vote guilty on the first vote.

Would be surprised if this didn't drag out over the weekend.

Question for the resident barristers, does the jury or the judge decide to adjourn deliberations for the day or weekend.

Judge has complete control. If the jury gets to go home for the weekend, without sequestration, then its an acquittal. Period.

If I were on the jury, I would head back to the room for delibertions, look at everybody, laugh, and walk back out.

This should seriously take less than an hour. Not sure what there is to deliberate.

its an all women jury. Im sure they will talk way too long about something

I thought that La Rionda performed fairly well in the trial, without much of a case. But his closing was an embarrassment to the legal profession and the State of Florida. As others have said, his argument was that the defense failed to prove its case, despite the defense having done exactly that. Being that proving the case is the prosecution's burden, that was a strange argument indeed. The prosecution proved nothing. His second argument was that Zimmerman was a liar. Considering that he and his prosecution team with a few witnesses probably told more obvious lies than anybody in the United States outside of Wall Street during the past two weeks, that also was a very strange argument.

I just don't get the questioning of the voice in the 911 call. The person crying for help is doing it nonstop for 20 seconds during the call and was doing it prior to the call as well. The prosecution finally gave in and said Travyon was on top. So he is yelling for help while he is on top for over 30 seconds before being shot? I obviously feel the evidence doesn't prove it, but can someone paint for me what the prosecution is trying to make us believe happened because they have yet to lay anything out there. Their last theory was George pulled a backing Trayvon in and shot him. So he was yelling for 30+ seconds while on top and then pulled back and got shot? I'm having a hard time seeing their scenario of what happened.

Everyone is. There's just nothing there.

He may be crazy, but he's been right about a few major things lately. He was the first to report on the DHS purchase of ammor.

Indeed. He's been been right right about a lot. Just folks don't want to admit it. Fear of being labeled a conspiracy nut.
