I'm not expecting them to come back with that kind of judgment. Having said that though...

The prosecution hasn't exactly given the jury much of a case. Their witnesses have not panned out. There is a lot of circumstantial evidence. There certainly has been a lot of testimony that gets one to thinking WTF.

Not expecting it, but wouldn't be surprised if it did come back as an acquittal since the State's case was not that strong.

I wish the judge would have some guts to tell the prosecutor that she is too seasoned to fall for emotional arguments not substantiated with any evidence that the defense just said you didn't have. Argue manslaughter, but murder 2 is off the table.

In this case, she probably shouldn't side with the Defense. Whether or not charges ever should have been filed, and whether or not the State overcharged, the State has presented their case and it should be up to a jury to decide.

Can't do that now. In fact, the State probably wishes they could. They have spent 9 days arguing for a verdict of Murder in the 2nd. They placed that high standard of proof on themselves. They shouldn't get a free pass on overcharging.

no I agree. I am just saying. I don't think she has sided with the defense on anything. she has given the state everything even though they have nothing.

Disagree. If it is this blatantly obvious, there is no need to put Zimmerman through this for another week and also have 2nd degree murder still on the table for 6 women who may just be tuning in emotional arguments.

You'd be right in another state. But Florida allows lesser included offenses to be considered. The State is required to argue for Murder 2, but the jury can ultimately convict on manslaughter.

In the end, it isn't up for debate whether or not George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin. And having gone through the trial to this point, a jury should be allowed to determine whether that shooting constitutes homicide.

Who do yall think the jury will find more credible: Trayvon's Mom and his 1/2 brother or Zimmerman's Mom and Uncle. I thought Zimmerman's family was more powerful, but maybe I am being biased. Anyways, Here's their testimony:

Jury will either convict or will hang. They too are afraid for their lives. I would sue to not be on this jury. I would go to jail, to not be on this jury.

If this is the case, then we are truly no longer living in a republic where justice stands firm. We have transitioned into an anarchist's and terrorist dream where violence and threats of violence will usurp law.

I can sincerely hope justice will be done and we are not heading down this path.

Well, to be honest, we saw the same kind of idiot outrage and people going insane with the Casey Anthony deal. It just happens that the people this time are reinforcing every stereotype assigned to their race. And then they wonder why they end up shot dead in the street.
