Zimmerman Trial

Hmm, I would view a Zimmerman "guilty" verdict as a step in the right direction in regards to gun laws. Remember, I want you to quiver with fear for your freedom the moment you reach for that gun.

Oh, it's you again...didn't you learn from your last little encounter in a gun politics discussion troll?

And for that matter, have you even considered going to the Cardinals sports forums and leaving us be?

CardinalSports.com - Message Boards

There ya go! Found the addy for you and everything.

But as for quivering, about the only quivering I do is when I think you happen to be a registered voter. Just saying...

So, yea, definitely more important than a man's freedom.

You know what's just as important as a man's freedom? The ability to protect that freedom from tyranny or from a hostile party that's willing to take it.

Troll...

Anyways back to the trial.... how dumb is the prosecution once again for putting a video that clearly helps the defense? I'm fairly certain we could have just had the prosecution present their case, and Zimmerman would be acquitted.

Back to the actual trial:

The ME is on the stand. She is making the case the Zimmerman's injuries weren't consistent with what he claimed Martin did to him.

Notabed22 is the typical bravado Internet poster who talks a lot of trash and throws insults around bc he knows people will not try and hunt him down and kick his butt...if we were in a public forum, where we all were actually physically present, he wouldn't say a word...he is probably the dork who got picked on in school and never had a girlfriend other than rosy palm and her 5 sisters...so he lashes out now to make himself seem important...he is a COWARD who doesn't want any one else to have personal freedoms bc he is impotent...he is scared of guns, truth and people with actual lives...ie...a job, a marriage and a family...

He wants power that will always elude him bc of his cowardness...thus the power trip of sending someone to jail even if their innocent...I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't become a cop...

No one's going to tell you this because you typically seem like a very nice person, love the Vols and share a similar opinion regarding politics as the majority of this forum...

But, buddy, you're an idiot. Just, like, really dumb. No one else in this thread is going to agree with this statement, but that's the general cowardice of which you wrongly accuse me. If you'd like to test this theory, find a random website on which to post about politics (or anything, really) and see how long it takes for five or six posters to point out this obvious deficiency.

I assure you that's not the reason. You're just no different than the ones who came before you

Names? I'd actually like to see the similarities.

That's a terrible forum, though. And so are Clemson boards. Hell, I've never come across a college sports forum as well made as this one. The only thing close is CockyTalk in terms of feel and TigerDroppings in terms of quality but, ugh, CockyTalk...

Also, I am a registered voter. A registered member of the Constitution Party. Really.

Good luck.

Interesting. Did she examine Zimmerman's injuries soon after the incident or is she using the general belief of what the injuries would be like?

Um....ok...I am the one who is really dumb...I'm not the one who is gonna put an innocent man away to justify my own fears...

What part of my post is actually dumb? Seems like I touched a nerve...so something I said is true...

Also, I am pretty sure, make that Positive, that even though I seem like a nice guy and a Vols fan...fellow posters would without a doubt call me out...plus I have never said I was the smartest person on here...but...I am not dumb either...I have my beliefs and I send behind them 100% no matter the fallout or what others think...

You're in the Constitution Party with views that are explicitly against the Constitution? Damn, you troll all over the place.

Nah, you're aiming too low with the cop statement. I think notabed grew up to become our country's greatest (why does it suddenly smell like manure in here?) president. Welcome to Volnation Barack Obama!

Probably the use of ellipses instead of new sentences, unusual spelling/grammatical mistakes, throwing lines out in every possible direction to try and arbitrarily land an insult that will stick... maybe it's just one of those things.

Or, on the other hand, it could be that you posted a picture of yourself and just didn't look very bright.

You're in the Constitution Party with views that are explicitly against the Constitution? Damn, you troll all over the place.

I swear to God. I don't have any other excuse as to why I registered as a member of the Constitution Party other than that I was casually trolling IRL.

Yes, I would.

Then there's a chance I'd be willing to help you out!

Also, though, still a high chance I wouldn't. I'm pretty self-centered and I'd likely find some reason to dislike you. Heck, I might find many reasons and/or motivations to not assist you or anyone else in a time of need unless I stood to gain something from it.

So, yea, I agree with your choice not to waste the phone call on me. Smart decision.

How would you feel if someone who OWNED a firearm helped you out? Or god forbid used the firearm to save you?

That's a pretty difficult question. I don't typically require assistance from others but, should the need arise, I wouldn't object to a firearm user helping me. Again, I have many friends who own firearms, believe in God, et cetera.

If someone used a firearm to save me, I'd be thankful. I have enough humility to recognize and appreciate true assistance. Granted, there's a reasonable chance that - should the firearm be used to kill the suspect - I would try and paint the killing as unnecessary and attempt to vilify the action... but I'd definitely be appreciative of it at the time.

Remember, I want you to quiver with fear for your freedom the moment you reach for that gun.

Remember, I want you quivering before you think of typing something out and trying to go head to head with Grand Vol and you get owned like you did last time...

And furthermore, I want you to choke on a bag of donkey butt holes and please stop trolling a legitimate thread on something other than gun politics.

You didn't own me and, for the record, I do intend on getting back to that thread at some point. It's not quite as enjoyable as you'd think to respond to countless posts that simply generate even more posts, you know?

You didn't own me

You keep thinking that chief.

and, for the record, I do intend on getting back to that thread at some point.

By all means, continue to spill forth your ignorant arguments that show your lack of a basic understanding of our Constitutional rights. But it basically comes down to a simple point.

You are not intelligent or mentally advanced enough to have that kind of conversation with me. Or, to use an analogy, you will come unarmed to the gun fight.

Is there any chance that you weren't picked because you were deemed to be too unintelligent? Just saying...

You mean your agenda is more important than another man's freedom.

Let's say, hypothetically, that you were walking down the street and someone stepped out of the shadow with a gun intending to kill you for your wallet and cell phone. They didn't just want to rob you, they wanted you dead. You would not give your life for your cause. You would defend yourself and if possible you would disarm the person and most likely be force to shoot him. Chances are good that you would kill him in the act. Would you then defend your right to self-defense in court or would you give up your freedom to advance your cause? I would dare say if it was you who did the shooting, you would avoid going to prison with everything you have (and be justified in doing so). Isn't it nice to be able to advance your cause at the expense of another man's freedom?

I have just one question notabed. How would making guns illegal keep criminals from having them?

This isn't about eradicating gun ownership, at least not in the sense that doing so would be feasible. It's about having less guns in the hands of civilians in general.

I'm guessing he has a face made for online posting

I rarely go a week without a Patrick Bateman comparison, thank you very much.

I don't know how I would materialize a gun out of thin air but, as I've said many times, I make a distinction between a "threat to life" and someone literally threatening your ability to live.

As usual, you missed the point. The point is you are willing for your cause to be furthered so long as it at someone else's expense and not your own.
