Zimmerman Trial

I do find it a little odd those in the camp of it shouldn't have gone to trial. For a group that rarely trusts cops or government y'all are pretty trusting of the police on this one.

No clue. Just the facts.

what facts? a Police chief was fired because he didn't think they had enough evidence (I thought it was because of what the lead detective thought, guess I was wrong). where did he get that from? Zimmerman wasn't charged until Al, Jessie, and the Martin lawyers got involved.

Dude he recommended manslaughter. Not sure what you are arguing.

Why u keep bringing up those idiots.

Not trusting at all. More that if 2 people want to get in a scuffle, then both need to be prepared to accept the consequences.

I don't doubt GZ felt his life was in danger and thus have no problem with what he did. Cops don't factor in for me.

Clearly you have a lot of trust and respect for law enforcement and government.

Why even have courts. Let the detectives decide!

The DA didn't want to press charges either, and that is their job...not the job of a court. The DA decides who to charge and what to charge them with.

because those idiots are why this went to trial, that was your original question.

It should have gone to trial. The verdict was correct.

Just because they also thought it should have gone to trial doesn't mean they were wrong. Sure there motives were horrible but a trial was necessary.
