ZERO Sacks for the OL

what is misleading is the sack total thus far. I have said since day 1 that Worley caused way more sacks than this line actually gave up. Yes they are young, but they are not as bad as their reputation is. Worley held the ball way to long, and hardly ever threw the ball away.

I definitely agree with you on Worley. At the beginning of the year I thought he was the guy that could at least get it done. I knew it wouldn't be pretty with this "new" O line. I figured he would take some sacks. I also figured he would keep the ball a few times on the read option but, well, let's hope we don't have to discuss that anymore. That dead horse has been beaten for like the past 3 months. And like I said as long as we can keep finding ways to win it won't matter. But I watched, what, our first or second offensive series in the red zone? Got stuff on 4th and goal from the 1/2 yard line. And this was against SC who by all accounts has one of the weaker defenses in the conference. I hope they get better tho bc Hurd was really impressive tonight!

The problem was never the O line. It was Worley. He held the ball too long and made bad slides I. The pocket. The line is good and will only get better.
