ZERO Rushing Yards. .

It doesn't really help your point when they lost worse than we did. If the 200 yds were of value, it sure didn't show in the box score.

It's called defense. We actually have one.

Offense on the other hand... We could do better with a few teams in the sun belts offense than what we have.

Against Oklahoma we had negative rushing yards thru 3 quarters but then Hurd broke loose for 100 yards in the 4th. Since then we hardly attempt any runs in the 4th not counting the sacks

We need to keep running and trying to wear down their D -- instead of our insane "Hurry up and Punt" offense which is killing our D,

Then quit watching until it gets better. What do you want Jones to do fire his O staff today?

Maybe not the entire staff, but something has to give. What do you suggest, keep on doing what isn't working?

I'm sorry, but the "talent gap" between us and the rest of the league isn't that wide! It's not like we're UTC playing a top tier SEC team. LA-Lafayette had almost 200 yds rushing against Ole Miss, and we had ZERO? Something is very, very wrong when we can't get a single yd rushing.

This is unacceptable and the coaching staff should be held accountable. I'm tired of hearing all the excuses and coach speak. I see no improvement on the O line and that falls squarely on the shoulders of this staff. They are not getting better and they should be.

It's obviously wide enough where it counts most. And there's only one thing that cures that. Recruit better players.

It is hard to swallow the facts. I know our OL situation, but I can show you so many tiny little conference teams that have like 200 yard rushing against teams were laying eggs against. What the heck is wrong?

I can sum up the problem in three words...coaching, confidence, and execution...we are lacking im all three areas and it looks like we have no idea what we're doing on offense..they lack leadership/coaching..they have talent.

You got that right! At the half we were MINUS yards rushing. With all rushing in the second, minus the loss yards we ended up with zero? I can't wait to hear the "spinners" try to make this sound okay. I'm sure someone will post, "Butch is building the greatest team in SEC history, everyone expected zero yards rushing, just wait until next year, or the year after that.....". From my viewpoint, we just got an old fashion, A(*& WHooooping.

So the solution is to be a petulant whiner for the next two or three years?

"But it's our youthful OL" - that has 3 academic Seniors on it

"We dont' have any depth, that's why we're playing 2 true freshmen" - JUCO 4* OT, SO C, 2 RS FR all on the bench. All look just as bad.

The problem is this is Year 2, not Year 1. 3/5 OL and 4 on bench are all in their 2nd year in the S&C and system. They all look like hot garbage. None look like they know anything about what they're supposed to be doing.

The True Freshman excuse is nothing but a crutch. Seniors, Juniors, etc all look completely lost.

This is exactly what I was thinking! Something has got to change, like today fast, for the rest of the season to have any success.

Yall Calm Down we face the number one defense. We are 107th in total offense our offensive line is the problem not the coach.

No, they lack experienced talent and experienced depth. They have 4 FR starters, and several SO-RS SO starters. But look at the 2nd string, lol! It's dang near ALL FR or SO. That should pretty much tell you we had ****e for talent on this team. I only count about 14 guys in our 2 DEEP that are upperclassmen. That's 14 out of 44 guys. roughly 25%. I liked our 2014 class, I like our 2015 class. We just have to take it on the chin and see what happens down the road. We have no other choice.

God, I hope not. I also hope the "UT coaches are almost god like creatures, never to be second guessed no matter how the season turns out, they are infallible", crowd-keeps it to a low roar for the next two or three years.
Two or three more years? Are you kidding me? Is this the new common belief? Our team will not improve for another 2 or 3 years? This is unacceptable for UT! Shame on all those that feel this is okay. This isn't North East Southwest Junior College, we're talking UT, we should be winning a Minimum of 7 games per year (on our off years), we have the greatest fan base, best stadium, and best tradition in the NCAA-2-3 MORE years is Crazy.:banghead2::banghead2::banghead2:
