I'm stealing this data from VQ. This is the number of upperclassmen(RS Sophomores and up) in each SEC team's 2 deep.

Florida - 26
Georgia - 27
Auburn - 21
South Carolina - 27
Alabama - 30
Ole Miss - 24
Miss State - 28
Kentucky - 25
Vanderbilt - 24
Arkansas - 31
LSU - 29
Tennessee - 17

Almost unheard of in the SEC.

the shallowness of this argument is about as dumb as the dude in your avatar looks....there are many other variables that come into play

Good info right there. And if you look at the quality teams they all have 26 or more. Definitely means something.

Of course there are more variables that come into play such as a third coaching staff in four years, an insanely brutal conference schedule, etc. But all else being equal I'd rather be playing LSU with us having 30 upperclassmen and them having 17.

Isn't it funny that all the good teams Alabama 30 LSU 29 S. Carolina 27 Georgia 27 Arky 31 all have a high amount. Miss St is the only one doing bad.

Yeah we are young and Fulmer and Kiffin left no talent for Dooley to work with. There is only left from Kiffin time here.

WOW so awesome to see it layed out like that....wonder what those numbers would look like if just the seniors left each program. I bet we would make a HUGE jump.

I suspect that it would be even worse if the redshirt sophs weren't included. I think UT is showing 6 or 7 of those in the 2 deep but could be wrong.

What was the argument? Did he exclude other variables? Did he run a regression analysis?

Are you saying this wouldnt correlate? It's predictive? Is immaterial?

Just wtf are you saying?

So depth is the issue. Not youth? Or is it the youth of the depth? Maybe the lack of depth that's not youth. ...............

I respect all the seniors for sticking through, but how many of those are actually quality players.

He11 yeah it does! I know everyone plays freshmen and Sophmores, but not as many(shown above) as UT. Our main problem is that we have these youngsters playing at nearly every position without enough upperclassmen for on the field guidence. Fear not though, next year we will be one of the veteran laden teams (at least a bunch of juniors) and should be near the top. If we flame out next year, start screaming about CDD,but not this year!!! Go Vols!!

p.s. Sims beat their azzes last year and I hate LSU!

Don't worry, VegasVol will be coming to the rescue soon with some more bogus statistics.
