Your top reasons our coaches are failing

Yes, I do. One poorly played game could be called a fluke, but this far into the season a good football team would have already worked out the kinks and be clicking on all cylinders. We do NOT have a good football team. We have one or two good players, but our team as a whole just doesn't have it.

Put that way, I have to agree with you. We do not have a good football team. We have good players but they do not play as a team.

With that being said, turning good players into a good team is the responsibilty of the Coach.

I know. I am still trying to understand her connection to the guy (i.e., wife, daughter, assistant, childhood sweetheart, etc..)

There must be something to make her overlook the years of futility and the mess this year.

I have no connection to CPF and would like to set the record straight. I like CPF as a role-model and a decent human being. I am not going to be pulled into trashing him, calling him names, or ridiculing him in any way. THAT said, I am all for a coaching change IF it is done in a classy way that doesn't add to our image as a bunch of trailer-trash redneck hillbillies who sign our names with a big red X. I can agree that it appears he has outlived his usefulness as the head coach at UT.

So there.

Your right LIO. The situation could be better if they used their personnel right, but i won't get into it. We lack the talent up front on both lines to dominate anymore. We have too outcoach and scheme to win. Your seeing how thats going. Yeah were thin on talent as hard as it is for some to admit.

UCLA was playing with a freshman line and 3rd string QB. GA was playing with an OL patched together because of injuries. Just goes to show what coaching can do for you.

You missed my whole point. We do NOT have enough good players to make a good team. I don't care WHO the coach is- you cannot conjure a winning team from thin air, not even with a handful of magic dust, if the components for success aren't already there to work with.

I agree with you 100%. I have no doubt that he will be allowed to exit gracefully should he chose to. However, he could make it ugly. I hope not.

The argument could be made that that freshman line and that patchy O-line were just better than our guys but the argument is getting tiresome. I don't really care what happens anymore. I just want this season to be OVER so we can move on.

GAH!
