Who do you think is going to make the biggest impact from day 1 when they arrive?

Mine:

1) Hurd: He is going to be special. Next year, it'll be him and Lane tearing it up

2) Lambert: Dline speed please

3) Blair: With his size and ability, he starts for us right away. Especially if Tiny leaves

Hurd and Blair are givens with their talent and the desperate need at those positions. And for the third It could be any of the linebackers or secondary commits with the lack of depth at those positions there will be plenty of chances for any of the incoming freshman to make an immediate impact. The majority of them will be in the rotation for next season.

Naming just 3 isn't enough. We're gonna see a lot of freshmen and Jucos contribute early, and it won't necessarily be due to complete lack of depth either.

Weatherd over Bates? I'm not sure about that one

Weatherd is coming in as a Junior.. He will start day 1 IMO.. There's a reason texas/Texas am/Oklahoma were coming after him so hard. He's a day 1 contributor at any of those schools.

After that Hurd is probably a safe guess, but I would also look to someone playing in the front 7 (Dline and LB's). I agree. With all we are losing on the lines it's hard not to vote for 2 juco linemen with real skill. Losing Neal and Lane being repetitively hurt makes Hurd another. If impact is measured in playing time very likely those are 3 of the tops.

The kicker from Fayetteville will play from day one!!!! Palardy needs to be replaced after he graduates.
