to make an immediate impact for the Vols. Who will be the difference makers in year 1??? I realize there is a thread about SEC freshman making an impact and Rogers is on there, but i would like to know all of your thoughts about our own group of freshman........

what do you consider "immediate impact?"

Berry and Jackson as freshman made immediate impacts. I do not see any freshman getting close to their impacts as freshmen. some likely to play as much, but not do as well at production.

If Rogers can get on field he has chance to get in their category but not sure he will be ready in time...

If Bray can step up, then Rogers could have an impact, so that would be 2 of the three. Palardy has to be on everyone's list bc kickers always make an impact (positive or negative).

However since I don't really see Bray being able to keep up with the speed of the SEC, especially with our terrific O line in front of him im gonna go..

Stone, Lofton, Palardy

Who will have the best freshman seasons is what it boils down to...sorry for any confusion lol

James, Palardy, Hunter. I would suggest if Justin comes to THE HILL ready, use him with Oku in kickoff returns. Afterall, he does run track.:good!:

James, Palardy, Stone

Very few if any of the others will see the field as much as those 3.

I think Palardy will win us at least one game with a long kick.

I think either James or Stone will make an immediate impact (they have to if we have a fighting chance of moving the ball)

And if the above statement comes true, then Matt Milton has a chance of making a big difference in the red zone.

This one makes sense to me as well. I don't see any of the receivers making a big impact this year with Jones, Moore and Teague around. Milton would be the exception because of his size, as he would be a good endzone target.

He has already gone through spring practice as well and with his size he is a step ahead of the incoming receivers even if Rogers and Hunter have all the hype.
