I'd like to see a rundown of everyone's 10 favorite/most memorable games that they were in attendance for.

1. 1993 vs Vandy W 62-14
It was my first game

2. 1994 vs Florida L 0-31
The score says it all.

3. 1996 at Memphis L 21-17
Who saw that coming?

4. 1997 vs Bama W 38-21
If I remember correctly this was the year Peyton lead the band in Birmingham.

5. 1997 at Arkansas W 30-22
It was at night, in the teens and we didn't play very good. What really stands out is my dad and I sitting 2 rows behind Archie, Eli and momma Manning.

6. 1998 vs Florida W 20-17
I'll NEVER forget leaving my seat and climbing the fence to rum out on the field. I still have some grass in a tupperware bowl

7. 1999 vs Wyoming W 42-17
This game was my sons first UT game and was his first birthday.

8. 2000 vs Florida L 27-23
My first official date with the woman who is now my wife. I told her she was a jinx and was no longer allowed to games...that was a lie. That was the year the Florida receiver had the ball 0.0001 sec and was given the TD.

9. 2002 vs Arkansas W 41-38
SIX F'IN overtimes. My bladder still hurts.

10. 2006 at Georgia W 51-33
It was my first time there and a win made the ride had a lot shorter.

I know theres more but this is what I could come up with.

I havent been to 10 games. But I will tell you, Neyland exploded when X. Mitchell stopped Air Force 06 on the 2 point conversion attempt to save the game. I know it wasnt the most important game, but it sure was a fun one to watch. I'd wear a X. Mitchell Jersey if I could find one.

VANDY, 85. A win and we tie bama but go as SEC champs. We won, and Auburn beat Bama...so we won it outright.

96 Arkansas...we got a kick out of some hawg fan behind us who was complete with the Hogs Head and the "SOOEY-SU-SU-SOOOEY" even though Manning was handing their butts to the R Backs.

-98 FL was my first UT game....and it still remains my favorite.

-98 Arky would have been a good one too, but I was out of town and missed it. doh!

Worst live experience:
-2002 peach bowl vs. maryland. I was ashamed to be a UT fan on that day. And I hate that festering cesspool known as "atlanta".

kidbourbon;942361 And I hate that festering cesspool known as "atlanta".

I have lost 2 Peach Bowls, an SEC Championship, Last Year's SEC B-ball Tourney Game to LSU, The 05 SEC B-ball Tourney loss to UK in Atlanta. The only TN win I have seen there is Buzz Petterson's last win vs. Arkansas before the 05 UK Game.

I'm thinking of forming a support group for those in attendance for that one.

Yeah. Dead silence exiting the stadium. Never heard the exits so quiet. Bammers stayed inside to celebrate. An amazing turn of events in the last minute.

I think my #1 just happened last Saturday. The best played game while I've been in attendance.

Keep going to games, if that's your best experience there will be many more that are better.

I love this thread, it gives perspective on the people that talk the talk all the time. If you haven't experienced much UT football than the last couple years do suck. If you been here a while you have some memories that can't be replaced.

1- Auburn 1985- Bo Jackson, T-Rob, stormed the field, awesome.
2- Florida 2004- the kick, my wife was pregnant with our daughter and freaked out, she tried to charge the field.
3- Washington St. 1980- first game ever, upper deck, just awesome to see Neyland.
4- Florida 1992- In the rain, student, J.D., fun, fun, fun.
5- Florida 1990- homecoming freshman year, destroyed the gators.
6- Minnesota 1986-Liberty Bowl, first bowl game live.
7- Georgia 1988- 1st road game without supervision, 3 day party, rain, verbal fights with Dawgs, no sleep, but we lost.
8- Florida 1998- OT win, great game. Spurrier sucks.
9- Nebraska 1998- Peyton's last game, Tee Martin looked good. Lived in Miami, had luxury box and 50 yard line tickets, so pumped and got destroyed. All was lost until we won the National Championship the next year.
10- Florida 2001- played late in the year, on our way to #1, or so I thought, oops.

Can't believe I didn't list a Bama game, I guess because we have owned them.

There is not a Saturday that goes by when I am at Neyland stadium that I don't remember my father.....I lost him in 2004 but every memory there is a good one whether we won or lost because of him!!

My most memorable time was the look on my father's face when we punted on 3rd down against Alabama.....I was mad at the play call (Johnny Majors) but I got so tickled at my father's reaction and THEN he got mad at me for laughing at him.....so I just can't limit them to 10.....I could write a book on my favorite memories!!

And something I want to admit....you guys call me a "Fulmerite" and blah blah blah....call me a homer and so on but one thing you guys will be happy to know, is that my father hated Phil Fulmer...we always argued about his temperment and for the record, my dad went to UT, supported the Vols financially since the 60's and he wanted Fulmer gone in 1997 - 2004. He would say we were lucky to win a NC with CPF cuz the man has no fire, he called him a "Golf Clapper" and "He has the best talent in the country and always finds a way to lose".......and yes I argued for CFP with him and I continue to do it with you guys......if my dad were alive today he would be on this board calling for Fulmer's head.....he wouldn't care if we won out and made it to the SECCG and won that too.......

Thank you Vols for being so much apart of me and my father's life......for 20 some years of my life, on Saturdays in the fall, I got to spend quality time with my dad in Neyland Stadium and I am lucky to be a Tennessee Vol.......AMEN!!

Jamal scored that TD on the first play from scrimmage. He didnt tear his ACL until almost halftime (but he did reel off about a 20 yard gain after he injured it)...and it was in 98

Great post Goodolerockytop! I too have great memories going to UT games with my dad, and now I am taking my son hoping he will have great memories also. I have been to the swamp twice with my dad and 2 brothers, both wins for which I take full credit. My last 3 FL games were 1998 win, 2001 win, 2003 win. Simply put, I don't go, we don't win. You may all bow down before me!:peace2:

1998 UT-FL No..Sir..Ree!:)

1998 UT-Ark About to leave when Ark fumbled...Amazing:crazy:

2001 UT-at FL Travis Henry ran all over em! Never forget the ball coach after the game "Had a good season, didn't win anything" priceless:eek:lol:

1982 UT-AL The Bear's last season, closed off the strip.:salute:
