I don't post often, but would like to get in on this one, if I may. I see the Vols as possibly 9-3 this year, with losses to Fl, my Tide and probably Ole Miss, since that is in Oxford. If your coaching staff is as good as I think it is, for 2010 I would simply put a "?" after those three I have as losses this year. Good luck, guys - I see some great football games ahead over the next few years.

Posted this in another thread but would like to get your predictions.

WESTERN KENTUCKY------WIN
UCLA---------------------WIN
FLORIDA------------------LOSS
OHIO---------------------WIN
AUBURN------------------ WIN
GEORGIA------------------WIN
ALABAMA------------------LOSS
SOUTH CAROLINA----------WIN
MEMPHIS------------------WIN
OLE MISS------------------LOSS
VANDY---------------------WIN

9-3 OR POSSIBLE 8-4 depending on georgia. no-show and their QB are gone so it is yet to be seen how good they will be.

WKU- W
UCLA- W
UF- L
Ohio- W
Auburn- W
Georgia- W
Bammers- W
SC- W
Tiger High- W
Ole Miss- L
Vandy- W
Kentucky- 25 in a row baby!

I honestly think we will beat Bama and UGA. They get to go through what we did this yr with no QB. If either had a backup that saw any PT this yr I might change that but they played their starters and didnt plan for the future.:the_finger:

We will beat Bama next year. We have a good chance to beat Ole Miss. And I want to see the O before I judge the Florida game. Because if the O is playing pretty good then we'll beat the Gators.

Stay off of here. Your Tide will get rolled this year by the Vols. This will be our year of revenge. Let's go Orange Swarm.

Hey it's the off season. The time we find ways to pass the months away. I enjoy every bit of it and every now and then a little gem of wisdom comes out. Enjoy this lax time 'cause when the season starts I'll bet my bottom dollar before and after every game there will be some not so funny postings. I want a 12-0 season just so the Fulmerites don't get cranky. :ermm:

The only team that scares me is UF. Georgia lost a lot and won't be near as explosive on offense. They lose a couple guys on D as well. Auburn doesn't really scare me, they don't have very many athletes. Alabama loses way too much for me to worry about them right now. Ole Miss could possibly beat us, depends on how the cookie crumbles.lol

I see us losing 1 for sure in UF and the rest toss ups because of all of the question marks on our team and the other teams. Our schedule is decent and I see us winning at least 9 games this.

I guess I'll break it down like this too:

WESTERN KENTUCKY---WIN-we are way more talented
UCLA------------------WIN-we want revenge
FLORIDA---------------LOSS-more talent and experience
OHIO------------------WIN-we are way more talented
AUBURN--------------- WIN-not as many athletes
GEORGIA-------------- TOSS UP-too many question marks
ALABAMA--------------TOSS UP-too many question marks
SOUTH CAROLINA------WIN-not as much talent as us
MEMPHIS--------------WIN-we are way more talented
OLE MISS--------------TOSS UP-too many question marks
VANDY-----------------WIN-we are more talented
KENTUCKY--------------WIN-we are more talented

That has us winning 8, losing win, and three toss ups. If we win one of the toss ups that makes 9 wins which is pretty good for a first year coach.

If we win ten games, Coach Kiffin should win every COY award ever known to man.

I can see this happening. Would still be an improvment. What would everyone say about this result in his first year.

Fair enough, that's a realistic projection. Even tide fans are welcome here if they're gracious.

Western Kentucky - W - more talent.
UCLA - W - revenge factor + more talent.
Florida - L - more talent & experience + the Swamp.
Ohio - W - more talent.
Auburn - W - home game + AU's coaching change hasn't gone as smoothly as ours.
Georgia - ? - might be a W w/ UGA losing Stafford & Moreno.
Alabama - L - more talent & experience + road game.
South Carolina - W - more talent + USC may be in chaos by then.
Memphis - W - more talent.
Ole Miss - ? - could be a W but Ole Miss looks real solid right now. Coach O knows their players.
Vandy - W - couldn't even beat us in our worst year.
Kentucky - W - see Vandy above.

Toss-up games.

Heart: 9-3 (5-3 SEC)
Mind: 8-4 (4-4 SEC)

I think Fla game will tell us a lot. If UT can at least be competitive w/ defending national champs in Swamp then it should bode well for remainder of season. We should be 2-0 going into that game.
