Quarterbacks: C-
Ainge looked flat today. Made a few good throws, but overthrew our guys several times. Was responsible for two turnovers.

Wide Receivers: C-
Average performance and a few drops.

Runnings Backs: F
37 rushing yards....enough said.

Offensive Line: C-
Pass protection was very good. Ainge had a lot of time. Run blocking, however, not good at all.

Defensive Line: D-
We started out completely stopping Tebow's run. But once they started passing, their run game opened up.

Linebackers: D-
Missed tackles, little pressure, completely lost.

Defensive Backs: D-
The only reason it's this high is Berry's return. Other than that we were completely dominated by their passing game (however small it was).

Special Teams (Returning): B-
No punt returns, but a few good kickoff returns. Almost broke one for a touchdown.

Special Teams (Coverage): D
Fulmer, Fulmer, Fulmer...when are you going to get someone who knows how to coach special teams coverage? Once again they get an early TD and take the momentum right away, and once again they have great field position to start nearly every drive.

Coaching: D+
It seemed like we had a decent offensive gameplan, our guys just could not execute. Defensive....did we have a defense this game?

OVERALL: D+
We have to remember, so far we've lost to two top 10 teams and in both games I think we had a chance to win. This team isn't as bad as it looks right now.

You're being rather generous. To even earn a grade, you have to apply some type of effort.

A big fat goose egg best describes today's performance.

In my 30 years of watching UT football i have never been so embarrassed. I can't imagine what the players are feeling.

Overall I would have to say and F. It all starts up front. Since they have gone to the zone blocking the running game has been terrible. I do not believe we could do any worse if we only played linebackers and defensive backs. I also believe Casey Clausen or Eric Ainge could rush for 66 Yds. per game a game against our D. I am sure the players are a lot more embarrassed than we are. Now I guess we will see what kind of heart this team and coaching staff has.

Where are the playmakers? Do we not have a burner to put in the game at receiver? Hell he doesn't have to be able to catch the ball just stretch the "D". I agree with the assessment of the "O" line, good pass blocking but the run blocking was just plain bad.
Can anybody tackle on the defense? Yeah it looks nice to lay a big hit on somebody, but Jesus wrap the guy up and get him on the ground. We either don't have the players or the players don't have a fire lit under their collective asses.

Receivers have been terrible for several years. They are too dadgum slow. Those overthrown passes, wouldn't have happened with receivers we've had in the past.

Yep

See the receivers too darn slow to break loose to be targets

Downgrade to F

F all around.

My favorite moment had to be the tip drill turned fumble. I'll give that one a D- based on cuteness alone.

We actually played yesterday?? I didn't think you got a grade if you sat on the sideline all day. Must have missed us on the field...:hmm:.
