OK Vol Fans it is the offseason. I had a conversation with friends while watching the NFL playoff games. The talk eventually came around to the draft and that eventually led to DB breaking the "Minister's" sack record at UT. We finally came down to a discussion about our old football numbers. So here is my question to you:

Who is your all time favorite Vol to wear your old number from HS/college? I will get it started:

I wore #51 in high school. My all time favorite Vol that wore # 51 is Reggie McKenzie Linebacker (1982-84)

Knoxville native and Austin-East H.S. graduate Reggie McKenzie starred with the Vols in the early 1980s along with his twin brother Raleigh McKenzie.

Reggie went on to play with the Los Angeles Raiders and started as a rookie in 1985 and has gone on to a successful career in the NFL front office. (data courtesy of UTSports.com)

I put this in the football forum but I will not limit it to football bring what ever Vol wore your number or vice versa.

Not to derail your thread, but I am of the opinion that Tennessee should reserve #11 for kickers. If and when a PK achieves a certain level of accuracy and performance, the team awards them the #11 jersey (Eleven ~ It's good!). The PK wears #11 as long as they maintain the level of excellence.

Carl Pickens, but I have a feeling Jauan Jennings is going to change that before he is done at UT.

My number was 88 so I would have to say Tim Mcgee with that number. One of the best WR's at WRU
