Your Favorite UT vs. UGA Rivarly Moment

In '06 I was watching in a bar in the heart of Dawgland. I was the only shining glimpse of orange in sight, and those doggies were getting a bit chippy as the game went on. Things were starting to look pretty bad, and even the late first half touchdown didn't cool them off.

Not one word was said to me the entire second half.

My favorite moment. Texting my new UGA alumni boss from Neyland at halftime in 2007 when we were up 28-0. Just sent two words.

Damn son.

I would say the 19-14 upset in 2004 wrecking their title hopes in athens with a true freshman QB in Ainge. They were #3 and we were like #19, or something. Nobody gave us a shot and we shut them down.

stephens running down the sideline to take the lead in 2001. people were jumping all over each other in the student section. the next 45 or so seconds, not so much. :/

"We just stepped on their face with a hobnail boot and broke their nose...............we just crushed their face" Don't quite know what it means but I sure miss Munson.

Basically the whole mid to late 90s.

I worked with a bulldog fan who was a major loud mouthed jerk and we spanked their butts every single year I worked with him. It absolutely ate him up!!

priceless

Yeah, they were #3, we were #17, they hadn't lost at home since their 01 loss to Auburn, and everyone was on their dick as well as David Greene's dick. David Greene played awful. Something like 13-30, 130 yards.

We were also coming off a bad loss to Auburn, and they were double digit favorites.

The Manning sneak then rolling out right for the touchdown pass. Was that 1996?

2006 Without a doubt. That is one of the few games we played our Asses off for 4 quarters and over came obstacles. We also didn't sit on the lead when we got it either.

1998 in Athens. At first I thought my seats were terrible . . . first row in the back of the endzone . . . but what I got was an up close look at the worst physical beating I've ever seen us deliver to a quality SEC opponent. Quincy Carter probably still has nightmares about Al Wilson blitzing up the gut.

The 1989 brutalizing of Auburn was just as bad. It was the football equivalent of Marvin Hagler's third round performance against Tommy Hearns.

The physical beating the Tennessee defense administered to Eric Zeier in '93.

I watched that game the other night. What i just can't get over is how well we played in the trenches in those days.

On a side note, Leslie Ratliff was a MONSTER in that game.

that would have been Travis Henry

my favorite was when we came out of the locker room in 2006 at UGA after halftime and proceeded to beat down UGA

I think my favorite moment was listening to Jim Donnan complain post-game about Fulmer and Manning running up the score.

Was that 1997?

'06 for me. Bigdaddy and I had tailgated all day, and we found ourselves amongst hostiles in the corner of the endzone. Down big, we thought about leaving to avoid the verbal assault. I talked him out of it, and we were right behind the blocked punt and Meachem's corner route TD. We walked over to the TN section after the game and enjoyed the celebration.

We were very close to each other in 2006. The great part was the fans had dressed all in black and after we hung 50 on them I turned and said to one at least you dressed for the funeral. After they filed out I tried to call my brother and all the Tennessee fans stayed and he said that all he could hear was the "It's Great to Be a Tennessee Vol" chant. It was a freaking great game.

I've had lots of good times at Georgia games but I will always remember when # 34 came in the game. We lost but he was really something special to see

What a horrible thing to add... LEAVE AT ONCE!!!

You know, you have to give props to players from other teams from time to time. Manning was, and still is, the best QB I've ever seen. But Hershel was by far the best college RB. Thanks for the class of you Vols who acknowledged that. He was really something special to watch. All he needed was a hole and he was gone!

I thought he meant Reggie Cobb.
