Your favorite moment of the Pearl era?

I'd have to go with the Memphis victory to take the #1 spot for the first time in school history. There have been so many great moments. Nothing hurts worse than the loss to Ohio State in the Sweet 16 when we blew a 20 point lead...

I couldn't sleep that night. The loss to Mississippi ST this year made me mad also. I was really getting pumped up about a SEC tournament championship. It didn't help that we blew the game.:machgun:

the 28 footer 6'0 Lofton hit over 6'10 Durant to give us a lead. That was absolutely sick. I still can't get over how he hit that.

Look Hat, we all know you hate Pearl, but can't we at least talk about the good times in the last four years? Do we really have to be negative 24/7?

The Memphis win was tops--especially on thier home court. It was just a regular season game, but resulted in a #1 ranking for the first time in UT basketball history. Of course, I sure Hat will remind us that Green, Buzz, and many other previous coaches have also achieved just a much.

The win at Florida to wrap up the SEC title was fun. See, I can find the positive.

yea, it was, but my favorite UF moment was drubbing them in Pearl's 2nd year when they had 5 NBA prospects and we had zero. I remember we were lighting it up on the three point line.

All wins against Memphis, Florida, and Texas were big. The win against Xavier was a great comeback win, winning out west vs. Gonzaga was a great one also.

My favorite moments are every win against Florida. Especially the domination of their title teams. The Texas game in Knoxville is up there too. My least favorite moment was the idiocy and celebration surrounding the #1 ranking that directly resulted in the loss at Vanderbilt.

Probably drilling Texas in CBPs first year. It showed that Tennessee could actually go in and compete with some decent teams.

Lofton's shot over Durant. Beating Memphis for #1. The first two wins over Florida, and with that, C.J. Watson knocking out Noah's teeth. The checkerboard Kentucky game, I was on the second row and even though we lost, it was an awesome atmosphere. Making the Sweet 16. And just the over feel of UT basketball games at TBA now.

When he left Hatvol crying in his beer at OCI after the 9th consecutive time he lost a game of last man standing to Bruce Pearl....he was heard to cry out "I am an attorney and a former AAU coach, and I drive a Dodge Stratus and do not use a tanning bed" as Bruce and the lady left the establishment.

My second favorite moment I personally witnessed was the OSU game in Nashville, the game Bradshaw tipped in the game winner. I also remember leaving they were handing out free Vault's and I drank 2 because my throat was sore and hoarse from yelling. I didn't realize it was a new engery drink/soda and that combined with the excitement of the win meant I didn't fall asleep until almost 4...and I had to get up at 6:00.

My first had to be '06 Vandy game. The place was rocking with at least half being UT fans. Vandy got up early but UT fought back. I'll never forget the massive "Defense!" chant that broke out. By the end it was definitely more of a Vol home game, and I believe Bradshaw hit a 3 to pretty much put it out of reach and the Vol fans went nuts. The best part of the closing seconds all the UT fans doing the "It's great to be a Tennesee Vol" chant...just awesome.

1. The win over #1 Memphis at they pyramid.
2. Lofton over Durant!
3. Sweeping UF, the natl champs, and 3 out of 4.
4. The body paint.
5. Beating Butler in 2nd round.
